Creative writing: event

I received new email from Dienka, surfing from a chinese food, here are the details of the event:

A couple of opportunities for creative writers:
Since the trip to see Dreadlockalien at Exeter Respect went so well, I'm proposing another trip to 'Exposed' Festival, Torrington, Devon- Thursday 14th September
Here's some blurb about it:
"Exposed is Apples & Snakes most ambitious collaborative project to date, with twenty performances across the uk, sixteen partners organisations and five touring artists (one from each of the Apples and Snakes Regions). It is one of the biggest national poetry tours ever programmed. Each of the artists has been comissioned to write a twelve-minute piece on the theme of 'exposed'. They explore issues of personal, political and environmental exposure through performance styles ranging from formal metre to hip-hop, storytelling and free verse.
Poets are: Claire Williamson (South West), Polar Bear (West Midlands), David 'Stickman' Higgins (East Midlands), David J (London) and Yussra Warsama (North West)
This should be a great evening of performance, please let me know ASAP if you would like to come.
So, the email is as same as previous post. Feel free to email Dienka if you are interested.

Email from Dienka

I received an email from Dienka, saying that she's going to start her project again this September. Anyone interested? Email her then.

I'm just checking that you are still wanting to take part in the creative writing group starting September 2006, the first four sessions will focus on poetry and there will be a poetry competition for the Plymouth Respect Festival.

If you would like, you can use your creative writing work to gain a qualification called a Young People's Arts Award, this will mean putting a bit more time in because you have to keep a diary of your work( you could use your blog) but you get to see shows for free and get an award for your creative writing.

poetry.com's fraud

i wrote a poem
it's about my feeling
i wrote a poem
to lift literature thing
and i wrote a poem
for war victims

but poetry.com cheated me
and wanted my money
all they want is my money
for my own poem that is bloody

i know i'm an amateur
and i'm glad when you choose my poem
but don't toy with my talent
it disturbs my decorum
